Launceston 78'' Outdoor Umbrella

Love this umbrella! I was on the hunt for a rectangle shaped umbrella that didn’t completely break the bank. I received a quality umbrella that is the perfect size for my nearly 7ft long patio table. It’s a very large umbrella so I bought the standing base to go with it that I feel adds the extra support needed. Time will tell for the durability and fabric but hoping that the sunbrella lives up to expectations.

For the cost (and the cost ON SALE no less) I would have expected a much better product. The “natural canvas” is more of a cream color, and the umbrella itself came with what appears to be a rust stain. The fabric is unlined so while it definitely provides shade, the some comes right though and you can see the rust stain even more when the umbrella is all the way up. The crank itself also looks to be rusty. I’ve requested replacement parts, but no response yet. The pole itself is actually quite nice and easy to use. Assembly was easy. The tilt feature works well, but since the umbrella is so tall and large (and heavy) you really need to make sure you’re ready for the tilt! Hoping the replacement part process is simple, and would have really preferred a natural canvas that didn’t look stark white.
