The assembly was very challenging. The proper hardware is not included (screws are not long enough) and one of the holes was not aligned properly. It was evident the hole had been recently drilled and wasn’t done correctly so we had to drill another hole to make it work. With this price point, it should not be so difficult and you should be able to follow the instructions with ease.

the cushions slip off kind of easily but not a huge deal. Fairly easy to put together with two people. We use it daily in the summer.

Poor construction. Delivery time six weeks late! Soiled fabric.

First off, take a drink before you start putting this together. While this piece is nice and comfortable, the instructions aren't very well written so here are some tips. You will need long, skinny arms to marry the couch to the chaise. Get yourself familiar with the frame before you put it together. Some of the frame tubing is thinner while others are thicker. The A bolts (the longer ones) are limited but are for marrying the thicker frame pieces together. The B bolts are for the thinner pieces. I propped the pieces up on chairs and on its end to get better access. The chaise-couch connection requires patience and a second person. The bolts are just long enough for all the holes but the key is to hold the allen wrench and the "wrench" with each hand and work them together. The chaise piece that is the platform for sitting on is listed as last in the instruction set. Do not let this happen. For the love of God, get this piece on before you marry the couch and chaise. This took me over 4 hours, no joke, to put together because of deciphering instructions and gathering my patience with just long enough bolts. I have bruises on my arms from trying to reach bolts that have no other way to access. Once you are done, there's nothing left but sleeping on this thing. Cushions are hard for now but do a great job as we are larger people. I'm 5'7" female and sit comfortably, even on the chaise. My partner is 6"3 male and he thinks the height is comfortable.
