The weave is much more open than expected but it fits exactly where it is needed.

The style is beautiful. I only give it 4 stars because one of the screws did not line up with the pre drilled holes.

I have been looking for a bench for my mud room entry way, and this one popped up in my search. I knew right away it was the one - my name is Angie, and I live near Portland! Definitely a sign. LOL In all seriousness though, it is a lovely bench, especially for the price. It’s sturdy and cute, and is actually made of real wood, which was a must for me. It was a breeze to put together and was exactly what I was looking for. Buyer beware - the color of the wood in the picture is a little lighter than the actual wood color on the bench. I knew this going in, as I had looked at some pictures in the reviews, and like the actual color better than what’s in the picture. Just something to note!
