Oria Eucalyptus Outdoor Lounge Chair

We bought two sofas and a matching chair. On the plus side they do look pretty good once everything is finished. They are however, not very comfortable or suitable for lounging. Initially it’s like sitting on a soft brick. The seat cushions will hopefully relax with use. The back cushions are fluffy, but force you forward. You can’t lean back into this furniture. Better used for seated upright visiting. Maybe in time with use it will soften up a bit. Have a vacuum cleaner handy before you open the box. Part of the Styrofoam packing material disintegrates in shipping and you’ll have thousands of statically-charged tiny Styrofoam pellets sticking to everything. It’s best to open the box in a garage where the packing mess is easier to clean up. They are not difficult to assemble except for the side backrest screws which are located between the latticework of the back rests. The tool access for the provided Allen wrench is minimal and requires a lot of fiddling to tighten them up. Be careful because the supplied Allen wrench is also coated with black, tarry grease. Be sure to wash your hands after using the wrench before you handle the cushions. Also, the Allen wrench is of poor quality and rounded-off under moderate torque, so have a better-quality Allen wrench handy. The wood work attention to detail is poor. Underneath the arm rests are discolored repairs and one of the mortise joints was cut directly into a wood knot. Overall they look okay, but not impressed with the quality of the details.
