Functional and beautiful!

The design is cute, but the specifications are WRONG. The thing is NOT "in deck" mounted (which seemed obvious per the ad so not sure why advertised this way) and also the pole holder is listed as 1 1/2" BUT it can accommodate a 2" umbrella pole or less as there are two adapters which is good, but sadly because of the 1 1/2" dimension, I ordered it (and this thing is expensive!!) and the receptacle for the umbrella pole that screws into the base is 2" plus in diameter which WILL NOT pass thru the hole in my vintage outdoor table that has a lower shelf for structural integrity below the table top but it has room for only 1 1/2" pole. This means I could not use this item for the dining table and had to set it apart and over in a corner of the pool deck. That will work I guess, because the base is NOT BLACK as stated. I have gloss black outdoor furniture and the stand is DARK GREY WITH A DK. STEEL BLUE CAST. This would not have worked next to the gloss black table, but does 'tie in' across the pool, sort of. It came dinged up with a few damages, but it was so heavy, I decided not to try and send back. You need to crispen up your advertising.
