Surrey Urn Planter

Order and delivery was as expected. This was the style and size I needed for the entry. They seem to be made ok, one had a slight crack on the rim but I don’t believe it will affect the integrity of the planter. The surprise was that it is BLUE not GRAY, which is why I gave it four stars. Since I am going to paint them, the blue did not concern me. But if I had wanted gray, I would be angry. They need to change the description.

These have a great look—it’s classic, substantial, and elevates the space. That said, durability was a disappointment. After about a year and a half, the base started to break down and eventually crumbled, which meant I had to replace it. For the price and overall quality otherwise, I expected it to hold up much longer. Great aesthetic, but questionable longevity.

Pretty planter, heavy material, and feels high quality. However, it unfortunately arrived with multiple hairline cracks in different places around the rim and one on the side below the rim. I kept it because it required me to ship it back in order to get a refund or exchange for a replacement which wasn’t in the cards. It was shipped very securely in the box with protective materials, so my guess is that the damage occurred prior to shipping, perhaps due to changing temperatures wherever it was stored before shipped. Not a great sign for how it will hold up outside during the very hot summers and very cold winters here in Pennsylvania, but hoping for the best!
