Reed 71'' Floor Lamp

This is a replacement lamp for the first lamp I ordered. Great customer service on that front. Both lamps arrived very quickly! Sadly, both lamps have blemishes. Assembly was easy. The marble base, though, has a couple of ugly, yellow splotches. The poles don't have a uniform color/sheen. The opaque glass shade has a tiny blemish, but barely noticeable. The first lamp had a larger blemish. The instructions say to use a 100 w incandescent bulb (where to find one of those these days?), but the switch operates as a 3-way that works in reverse order with an LED 3-way bulb. Sometimes, if I turn it off, then back on, the bulb barely emits light at all. If left alone to cool down, it works again. Quite strange. It is a very pretty lamp. I wish for a little better quality.

Easy to put together and sturdy. Very nice looking. Perfect for a tight space.

The antique brass was in two parts of the pole and the part of the pole was shiny brass. Complained and now getting another one.

Despite some reviews saying the lamp was crooked or poor quality, I went for it and I’m so glad I did! My lamp is super straight and it doesn’t feel cheap at all. I love that it can be disassembled if I ever need to move it and pack it up again. The gold is understated and classy.

Love this lamp! I got a soft white bulb and it lights my entire (smallish) room perfectly. It’s very simple and this can be aesthetically pleasing in any space.
