I love the lamp base, dislike the lamp shade. The lamp shade is a bright white, plastic shade with no texture. The lamp base is metal but looks like wood. Pretty realistic actually and its heavy so it won't tip over.

Love it. It shipped very quickly, was easy to put together, and love the weight of it and look. It casts a nice light in our living area corner. We love it so much we ordered another for our front entertaining room too! Side note: It is metal with a wood aesthetic, which I appreciate even more for the weight of it and the stability.
