I had thought the finish would be matte black from the online photos, but it is actually a dark matte brown-bronze. I still enjoy the shape and pivoted shade, so I will keep.

Nice lamp and shade … but, this is not a 65” high lamp. At least not the one shipped to us. It measures 60” from floor to the top of the curve in the lamp. It was too short for our space. We shipped it back and had to pay shipping charges (roughly $18). Contacted J&M customer service via chat, sent pictures to chat agent, and am still waiting for response from the manufacturer. Looking forward to having charge taken off our credit card, and reimbursement for shipping charges.
