This is a beautiful floor lamp with a simple, modern design. The wood base looks great in person, feels sturdy and well made, and it has a really nice presence in the room. Assembly was incredibly easy and only took a few minutes. My only hesitation is the overall value. The base is made from rubberwood and the lamp is not dimmable. While neither of those things takes away from the quality or appearance, I would have expected more premium materials or features from a lamp positioned at the higher end of the market.
