I recently added this Everly Quinn floor lamp to my reading nook, and after a bit of a learning curve, I’m really happy with it. Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take long at all. The only challenge was figuring out how to get it working because there were no instructions included. Since it’s cordless, it needs to be charged before first use, something that wasn’t immediately obvious. The charging indicator lights were also very subtle in our bright, sun-filled room. The red charging light appeared as a soft glow, and the green light that indicates a full charge was even harder to notice.
At first, I honestly thought the lamp might have been damaged during shipping. After letting it sit for a while and coming back to it later, I gave it another try, pulled the cord, and it lit up immediately. Once fully charged, it worked exactly as expected and illuminated the entire shade beautifully.
The lamp itself feels very well made. The heavy base gives it excellent stability, making it feel secure and tip-resistant. It provides plenty of light for reading and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere in my nook. One of my favorite features is the cordless design. Being able to move it wherever I need extra light without worrying about outlets is incredibly convenient. Now that I understand the charging process, I can honestly say this lamp is exactly what I was looking for and a stylish addition to my home.
