You are not buying the item as it appears in this photo. The stem comes in 5 parts. There are rods with screws that link the sections together inside a hollowed out piece of wood. When the wood is assembled, the lines between the wood sections is clearly seen. The reality of this is NOT shown on the photo. I am having to pay 15 dollars to have this returned. Buyer beware. Not full disclosure on how this stem actually looks!! If you don't mind having lines between the wood on this stem then perhaps this item is for you. The stain work on the base is a bit messy as well. Nice lampshade and the shape is nice. Too bad about the quality.

This lamp is super rickety and the quality is terrible. It doesn’t fit together well to be stable and the wood does not match down the stand. Don’t waste your time.

Style wise this lamp is a 10/10 (exactly what we were looking for). My only complaint is it feels little flimsy in terms of the screw in components. They seems to spin in place rather than tighten fully and stop spinning. Don’t see it being an issue though and happy with our purchase.
