Okay, here is a summary of my never ending saga of these lamps. I initially hesitated to purchase these lamps, as the price was pretty steep. However, decided to go for it. I ordered two for the bedroom. The first lamp I took out was perfect. It was very heavy, sturdy, and fit the room perfect. It was downhill from there, when I opened the second lamp, the shade was broken. I contacted costumer service to order a replacement shade, and they were amazing and sent a whole new lamp instead. I will say that the customer service is incredible, fast, and easy. Five stars for this.
But alas, the saga continued. Only a month or so after having the lamps, the finish on one of the lamps started peeling and would not stop. Again, I contacted customer service, who sent me another new lamp (5 stars for service again!). But now, the new lamp is a different shade and finish than the remaining lamp from the original set. It’s almost like the new lamp is the authentic one (being a beautiful muted beige color with texture and seems to be painted instead of the plastic coating of the original set). It’s almost like the original set were knock-offs. For the price, I expected better quality, but I can’t be that mad, given how easily I was sent replacements.
