This is pictured as a wall mount, but is a ceiling mount only. Joss and Main refused to allow me to exchange or get a refund despite false advertising. Don’t waste your time or money unless you want this as a flush mount on your ceiling.

I should have paid attention to the prior review that this is not wall mounted in spite of the photo showing exactly that. I too am disappointed as this very nice fixture was finally going to solve my problem for the location which has to be a wall mount. The description does say no back plate but would someone please remove and correct the photo. A waste of time and money because of it.

This is not a wall mounted sconce. It is a ceiling mount. The description does not say that and photos show it mounted to a wall. We were very disappointed because we liked the style and really wanted them throughout the house. Wayfair was very responsive to our issue and concerns however, reinforcing our high opinion of their customer service.
