Loving the look of this lamp. I bought 2 of them for my dining room sideboard which just arrived yesterday. The lamps are perfect on the sideboard just like I was imagining! They provide the perfect amount of lighting to the area. The base color is the black and goes well with the legs of my chairs. The design goes well in my home.

I love the light and it is perfect for the guest room sitting on top of a chest of drawers The light bulb, even at the max 40 watt, does show through the wicker shade a bit when it is on but it doesn't bother me. It's not a ton of light but adds some mood/style. Very cute.
