Emden 2 Light Wall Sconce Set of Two

These lights are amazing! We purchased them for my sons bedroom and they are way bigger than I expected. They come with light bulbs, which is nice. They are packaged really well with lots of Styrofoam. Very classic looking. I held up a post-it note for size

Wow, these are amazing. I love the style, the color, the build quality, and the fact that they come in a set of 2. The arms are adjustable and the heads articulate, meaning you can easily get the light angles exactly how you want. They even came with the lightbulbs needed to work right out of the box. There are instructions for converting these from plug-in sconces to being hardwired…but I don’t see how to do it simply. Another problem is that if you want to hang the set of 2, there’s no way to make them symmetrically mirrored. They will always be identical.

Aesthetically, these are really beautiful lamps. They’re well made and feel heavy and solid. They’re also good size and would make a nice focal point over a console table or something like that. What I don’t love about these is that they face the same way - ie, if you have them on either side of your bed they’ll be facing the same way instead of mirroring one another so you either have to have them re-wired or placed in different rooms. The place for the lightbulb is super small so you definitely couldn’t use it as a reading light, it’s more for looks. The lamps were packed super well for shipment and arrived unscathed.

I’m in love with this set of modern wall sconces. They’re great quality and can be either hardwired or be used as plug-in (which is how we are using them). The brass like finish paired with shades of matte black and glossy white complement my vintage MCM style. Bonus that light bulbs were included!

Such cool style for a bedroom over nightstands- a touch pricier than other similar options but I think worth it in looks.
