I am giving this a 4 because of the lack of instructions and time it took to install. If you aren’t super handy, I would splurge for an electrician or pay for the assembly with purchase. The instructions were very minimal, and it also did not come with two screws to fasten the fixture in place. We had to use the screws from our previous light fixture in order to assemble. With my husband’s assistance, it took us over two hours to assemble. I would also recommend ordering a warm lightbulb, the ones that I ordered are really bright, since this does not have a light shade, the current lightbulbs are way too bright for the fixture. It also doesn’t work with my dimmer that was previously connected to our old light fixture. However, after getting it assembled, it is very beautiful and works well above our dining room. We did have to cut the wires and did not use all of the rods so that it was the right height. I did like that you had the ability to do that, but it wasn’t very clear in the instructions. Overall, I do like it, just wish it wasn’t such a difficult thing to install.
