We love this chandelier! Although it didn't say so in the on-line description, there is a way to carefully refine the direction of the rods that the lights are attached to, as well as the direction of the lights themselves. The chandelier IS dimmable with the correct electrical box and bulbs. The metal seems to be high quality, and is a lovely warm color, not brash. The adjustability was key for us, as our light fixture electrical box isn't centered over our dining table.
