I was so excited to receive this, however, a little sad when it showed up, because I did not realize it is rope that holds the two globes without a metal attachment. I would’ve kept this if it had metal to cover the rope.

Sorry, but after 3 years of use, I am having to replace this fixture with one that has globes that are open on the bottom so that the interior can be cleaned . Even a highly qualified electrician had MUCH trouble removing the globe and getting it back on. Fine dust had collected (somehow) inside- we would have to get that worker back again to either clean it or replace a bulb. This was a very expensive fixture, poorly constructed…NOT user friendly. My other Wayfair purchases were fine, thank goodness.
