Such a great plate - understated but functional. Love the blue trim and the slightly "imperfect" shape. It added visual interest to my table setting. This stoneware Medium Oval Platter from Portmeirion makes every occasion feel special. Made from recycled clay, a reactive glaze in a deep purple shade washes over the inside of the platter leaving the outside textured and creating a unique piece for the home. Compared to the polished pastel interior glazes, the exterior unglazed bisque finish has a grainy sandy eggshell texture. The high firing temperatures of these pieces make them strong and functional. Sustainable and stylish for any occasion.

I had some trouble actually getting these as there was some confusion as to delivery. I did finally receive them and they are quite nice. Pretty color and a nice weight.
