PROS the quality of these is exceptional. They have such a lovely hand feel and they are generously sized. CONS The color is MUCH more like a dingy mustard hue versus the brighter yellow shown in the photos. It is a bit of a number because the color is not quite what I had hoped for, so I will probably pass these along to a friend. I took a star off for this reason, but quality wise these are delightful. I had thought this set was 8 of each, but it's 4 of each -- placemats and napkins. That's fine. I didn't need more. The placemats are very rustic, kind of burlap-like. The napkins are soft. This set goes really beautifully with blues, tans, golds, or even whites an off-whites. We bought them to go with a dark blue dining room, dark blue tablecloth, and gold dinnerware.
