Stone By Mercer Project Katachi Stoneware Dinnerware Set & Reviews

Stone by Mercer oval collection is a 16-piece stoneware dinnerware set. The oval dish set includes four dinner plates (12.2 x 9.6 inches), four salad plates (10.8 x 8.5 inches), four bowls (19.6 fluid ounces), and four cups (10.8 fluid ounces). The beige and pink hues highlight the outside texture and shape of each dish to give a unique and aesthetically pleasing look. The collection stands out for its unusual shape and has stackable plates and bowls for easy storage. Although dishwasher and microwave-safe, the pieces will still get hot and should be handled with care. Beautify your table with this designer set and table accessories such as a tablecloth, placemats, or chargers to protect the surfaces as the bottom of the parts is unglazed. The dishes possess an irregular outer surface that gives them a pleasingly rustic aesthetic. There might be color variation within the set due to the reactive glaze response to the shape of the component and the firing heat. Despite being dishes, the oval collection can also be seen as an elegant piece of art. Come and join the Mercer project family with this one-of-a-kind dinnerware design.

Bought the "cream" colored plates. Great looking out of the box but already after 2-3 uses shows black scratches from silverware. Looks like pencil marks on the plates now.
