Mikasa Huxley 9-Piece Dinnerware Bowl Set, Service For 3

Super cute set! They are definitely sturdy pieces. I appreciate that they come in sets of 3 because I needed place settings for 6. I gave four stars instead of five because they are a little bulky when stacking. While they fit in my cabinets, it would be tight if you had limited space. The bowls are definitely the bulkiest when stacking.

I got the blue. I chose these because they are Mikasa. I still have Mikasa place settings that cost 50.00 each back in 1996. Classic Flair was the pattern. Two different animals here, no comparison. These Huxley bowls and plates are haphazardly dipped into a glaze with no consideration for continuity and consistency. I would use these on an everyday casual occasion. One of the saladpasta bowls had a weird anomaly on the bottom that nearly pierced my finger. Wayfair is working on replacing that bowl. The color of this blue is what I would consider blueberry. Especially the darker shades. I ordered two sets to make it service for six.

Absolutley love this dinnerware! The salad plates are like shallow bowls, which are excellent for pasta and other noodle dishes (and salads, naturally). We were looking for a more unique-looking line of dinnerware, and this set ticks all the boxes. The color is a lovely mid-grey, and the pieces are nice and sturdy. Would definitely recommend!
