The joint between the stainless and the handle is smooth and they went through the dishwasher fine. I bought them to use as appetizer serving utensils because of their interesting looks. For me, the exaggerated shapes of the spoons and knife are not ideal for everyday use.

I really like the contemporary style of this flatware. The quality is excellent. They spoons are a little top heavy. Unfortunately my husband does not like the slender design so I will not be purchasing more sets.

I like the wood handles. The set is cute I was hoping it would be bigger but all an all I like it, it's different made a good choice i would get some more in the same color so I can have for a dinner party.
