I had thought this set was 8 of each, but it's 4 of each -- placemats and napkins. That's fine. I didn't need more. The placemats are very rustic, kind of burlap-like. The napkins are soft. This set goes really beautifully with blues, tans, golds, or even whites an off-whites. We bought them to go with a dark blue dining room, dark blue tablecloth, and gold dinnerware. The chargers are fine but did not meet my expectations what they were made out of metal and then they didn’t fit my plates so I’m going to return and of course Wayfair wants to charge me $50 to return them.
