This is a beautiful & high quality desk. There is a tiny scuff on the top of one of the legs, but it is barely noticeable. It’s a good length for such a slim depth (usually a slim desk is much narrower). Cons: The top is a sheet of metal and it does that buckling thing if you push on it. This desk is not suited for heavy computers or printers. The drawers are metal and aren’t on runners so they drag. Midcentury meets Shaker. Made from solid acacia and finished in a light, with an arched cradle base. Vary-sized drawers bring generous storage space to the home office.

Attractiveness 5 stars. Functionality 0 stars. Drawers are sticky, thus the round pulls are worthless for getting the drawers open. File cabinet hardware is set for legal sized folders. There could have been a simple solution, a small slit in the metal hanging devices that would accommodate letter sized folders, but no - very poor design. Also, the file drawers only open about 1/2 way, so files in the back are hidden. And, the drawer guides are extremely poor given the weight of the drawers. Save your money, as this desk was expensive! Keep looking and try other sites rather than Josh and Main! Also, the matching book case finally came with one of the doors broken. Love love love this desk. I had been looking for a desk to create a home work station I searched many websites and saw many desks but ultimately I kept coming back to this particular desk. I did end up finding this desk on another site for twice the price. The quality of the wood. The sturdiness of the desk and the depth provide the perfect surface to display and use my computer and printer with still room to write things . I am very pleased with the drawer sizes -- papers/organizers/charge cords you name it can fit in one of the 3 drawers, they get deeper as they go down (just as you would expect from seeing the drawer sizes from the picture). This was the right purchase for our space and it was one of the first furniture pieces that we intend to keep for years to come. Very happy with this desk! White glove delivery also was amazing! The process was easy and the delivery service workers were punctual, efficient and paid attention to detail as they brought the desk into our space!
