These bar-height stools are lovely. They are the correct proportion for a bar table (in contrast to counter-height) and the proportions are great. They were somewhat annoying to put together, and there are some staples in the roping that are unsightly - I think I'll pull them out when I get the chance and find the correct implement for the job, as they don't look like they are needed to keep the material in place. They don't quite push under my bar table due to the width of the table's pedestal base, and I wish I had thought about getting something wider to slide around the pedestal (if that's even possible to find). The main drawback I have experienced is that the material is not super comfortable especially if you are wearing shorts, and I have found marks on my legs from it. The package arrived a little later than originally suggested. Overall, I think these stools are a pretty good deal, as they were significantly less expensive than the bar stools with leather padded seats that I wanted from another store.. Erin. CA. Love these! We just purchased a 70’s ranch, and seller had done a driftwood/Grey floor that we aren’t fond of. Found some decorators online who suggested balancing with jute rugs and cognac leather. These did the trick! We have a lot of work to do on the kitchen, and lighting in the house - it’s stinks to say the least (in both brightness and style of fixtures!) and as of today they’re the only furniture in the house- so don’t judge by my pic! Nice chairs, pretty much as expected. Docking a star because the front foot bar is jussstt slightly below where I need it to be (I’m 5’3”). My previous stools did not have that problem. Simple assembly. Also it was packed well/no damage and arrived quickly, however something in the packaging (I think the pink styrofoam?) smelled like nasty stinky cheese!! I initially loved these chairs because of the sleek design. They needed assembly upon delivery, which was fine. Not even 1 month in and the foot rest on one chair came off and another chair cracked.
