Really love this sideboard. Delivery was perfect and on time, and the furniture itself is beautiful. I had read reviews of some noting some misaligned rattan on the doors, so I was aware that was a possibility. One of my four doors has a slight misalignment at the top of the door, but it’s aligned perfectly at the bottom. I think this is just due the rattan itself not being perfect. Normally something like this would bother me a bit, but I can say that it’s so slight that it really is not noticeable unless you were to really stare at it. I have no regrets whatsoever. I’m using half of the sideboard as a bar, and while the shelves are adjustable, I will say that if you’re planning to do the same, you should be aware that putting the shelf at its highest setting will allow a standard unopen wine bottle to fit standing, but nothing taller. For this reason I decided to take a chance and drill shallow 1/4 inch holes a little higher up and in line with the pre-drilled holes. This allowed me to raise the shelf up another two inches, which gave me enough clearance for all size bottles. It came out perfectly. Only noticing this in case you plan to use the sideboard the same way. I do think the manufacturer should consider adding another set of pre-drilled holes another row higher up, considering many use sideboards for this same reason. Not a complaint but just a suggestion. We had two solid wood etageres that were very similar in look that we wanted to somewhat match. The raffia doors and knobs were perfect. The only difference is the etageres have hidden hinges and it would have been a nicer more sleeker look had the cabinet had them but it is certainly not a deal breaker. The cabinet works wonderfully as a small bar in our beach house. The upper shelf works perfectly to lay wine bottles on and the bottom shelf works to hold other bottles you may have. We took half the bottom shelf and use it for wine glass storage by attaching a wine glass holder under the upper shelf. Works great and we are extremely happy with our purchase. J. This was a replacement for the previously damaged unit and this team was phenomenal! They unwrapped it in the truck so there was no mess in my home (previous team didn’t do that and left a mess inside) and had me come inspect it to make sure it was perfect before bringing it inside.
