Very pretty bench and easy to put together. It’s not stark white, slightly more cream colored (which is what I was expecting and wanted). Tons of storage space, but note that there are no hinges. Looks perfect at the end of my king size bed. I sprayed ScotchGuard on mine to protect from future stains and it didn’t discolor it (but YMMV). I was hesitant to purchase this set due to so many negative reviews, but I am happy with my decision to go ahead and get it! I think it’s great quality for the price. I was able to get the white glove delivery for free and they got it all put together very quickly and in my opinion, it’s done well. The wait time for delivery was very reasonable as well! My only complaints at this time are that the texture of the wood makes it a little difficult to maintain - I have a photo where some fabric caught on the grain - and it is kind of annoying how you can’t just push the chairs on each end straight in due to the structure of the table legs (have to pick them up and set them over the “ledge” connecting the legs of the table). The quality is very good, I'd say closer to 5 stars. There's some minor sheen differences in the wood that I expect will look more consistent after cleaning. Packaging was good also, very easy to break down and separate out the styrofoam and cardboard as I'm able to recycle both. However, the unit was damaged -- one leg where it curves to form the long "ski" broke clean through. I don't know whether to blame the packaging or the design of the unit (but it is very stout). Maybe the shipper. In any case, customer service was painless and really top notch. I opted for a discount. I ended up repairing the leg and I'm happy overall.. Paige. Anacortes, WA. Sat Nov 08 2025
