My initial thoughts - this has a great weight to it, solid construction, and has a nice brushed finish. It will look fantastic against my dark green book shelves. We used this under new cabinets over the sink. The gold is not too shiny or too “gold”. It wired easily to an existing power source and provides good light for a food prep area adjacent to the sink.
