The bench was elegant, sturdy and light/easy to move. However there was a rustic/wooden smell to it, something that can be a feature in a large country house but not something we were necessarily looking for. Bought 6 of these chairs for a fire pit. I purchased the gray which was a little lighter than I expected. However, it will work for my set up. The assembly of the chairs was relatively easy after the first one. A little easier with 2 people, but I managed without help. One chair was missing the threading for the chair arms, but customer service quickly sent me a new set. They are heavy, not worried about them being blown over & appear to be weather tolerant.
