I just moved countries and was looking for an inexpensive but still nice looking cutlery set to get me by until my things arrive. This is a really attractive cutlery set, the shape is modern and comfortable to hold, it is however quite lightweight which is why i've given it 4 stars - I prefer a little bit more weight to my cutlery - but overall really pleased with this purchase.. This set is the most user-friendly knife. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip with the thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The chef's knife blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Zwilling JA Henckelsstern cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip.

The flatware set is beautiful and sturdy. The gold color matches and or compliments our existing pieces in the kitchen. The weight of each piece signals quality, and the sleek design allows each flatware piece to be easily held. We wanted a unique set and this definitely delivered! One minor flaw with the delivery -- the items were not packaged securely for transit. The delivery box arrived damaged and upon opening it, we noticed the box did not have any packing material inside. This caused our pieces to shift around during transit and resulted in pieces either scratched, dented, or both. However, I reached out to customer support and they were extremely helpful and empathetic to what occurred during transit. I am getting replacement pieces sent out to me soon. I am hoping that the feedback I gave (in terms of packing the items securely) was taken into consideration with my replacement sets.. Irene. Newcastle, WA. Tue Sep 20 2022
