Both chair and ottoman were protected with a type of bag so that the items do not rub or wear against the box - that’s what I am guessing. Keeping the boxes and both bags to repackage when we move. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little. The Brandie Dining Chairs are absolutely beautiful. The color is stunning, and they seem very sturdy. However, they are significantly shorter than I expected. The packaging was good, but the long wait was a major drawback. They were on backorder for over 60 days, which was a significant inconvenience.
