This chair is for my mom's 80th birthday. I searched far and wide for a recliner that did not look like a recliner but a contemporary chair to match her stylish living room. I then found the Amada chair. It has all of the appearance of a chair and non of a recliner. Our first delivery was a disappointment, not for the chair but the delivery. The chair came with a cracked front leg. We were devastated. We contacted customer service and they helped us through the process for a replacement chair. A week or so later we received the replacement chair and it was perfect!. We now fight for the chair whenever we watch TV together! I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the delivery issue. Love, love, love these chairs! Very stylish and comfortable. One was very difficult to assemble but just a set of longer screws solved the issue. You guys never disappoint! This chair and ottoman combo is perfect for our designated spot in our master bedroom. It gives us another spot to hang out vs being on the bed. It also gives a sweet comfy cozy vibe! Let’s talk about the packaging! Excellent. Both chair and ottoman were protected with a type of bag so that the items do not rub or wear against the box - that’s what I am guessing. Keeping the boxes and both bags to repackage when we move. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little. But it’s totally unnecessary as the feet are sturdy and they are perfectly fine. They hardly show underneath. The quality of both are perfect! We are very very pleased! Thanks J&M! You rock! I was surprised by the quality of this chair for the price. Good value. My only disappointment was the overall height. I have 12' ceilings in the room and when I first placed the chairs, I was tempted to return them as they appeared like miniatures. Fortunately I overcame this by adding a tall plant placed between the chairs and placing them on a small throw rug creating a conversation area.
