I love this rug, BUT just be aware that the description and stock photos don't quite match up with the actual rug. The description calls the color "silver/gray." I think cream and gray would be a better description. "Silver" makes it seem like it could be metallic, but it isn't. The stock pictures of the rug look like a cream colored rug with gray crosses. The actual rug has quite a bit of gray variation in the cream part between the crosses. The rug is a beautiful warm tone and makes my room look very cozy and inviting. Offering a contrasted stripes design on one side and a neutral look on the other, the Duetto rug combines two desings in one piece. The construction is made by tufting the piles in rows, alternating stitchlines on the front side with rows of contrasted color on the reverse side. The rug is embellished with embroidered color dots on top of the canvas borders, and finished with a double layer of natural color fringes opening up from the canvas base.

Our subtly striped cottage rug is a natural fit in casual spaces. In handwoven jute, cotton, and hemp, it stands up to foot traffic and looks as good alone as it does layer. The addition of cotton softens the jute blend, making it strong but soft underfoot.
