Overall, the bed is great quality for the price. My only issue were the instructions which were not always clear and took a bit to figure out. We were looking for a bed that would fit under our window and there were not as many frames available under that height in the style we were looking for but this one fit perfectly. With a slight modification from our original plan. This bed was exactly what we are looking for. The description says the bed is a platform bed and no box spring is needed, while you can use this bed with just a mattress, I would recommend adding a box spring. We removed the bed slats and replaced with a 9" metal box spring. This accompanied with a 10" memory foam mattress leaves this mattress at the perfect height. Very pretty bench and easy to put together. It’s not stark white, slightly more cream colored (which is what I was expecting and wanted). Tons of storage space, but note that there are no hinges. Looks perfect at the end of my king size bed. I sprayed ScotchGuard on mine to protect from future stains and it didn’t discolor it (but YMMV).
