This light looks modern and sleek and illuminates my living room very well. The only thing is that it will illuminate the ceiling a good amount and if you're lucky like me, it'll show a badly plastered ceiling (ughh). I really took one star off because I can see the reflection of the bulbs on the metal plate, since there is a small gab between the plate and the fixture (unless my electrician messed that up... We love this pendant light most for its durability: It's compatible with sloped ceilings, and dimmer switches, and has a height-adjustable downrod.
