Overall, the bed is great quality for the price. My only issue were the instructions which were not always clear and took a bit to figure out. In addition, the foot board is slightly bowed so does not sit flush and therefore you can see the black fabric on the outside corners slightly but blankets cover it so not a huge deal.. Casey. We were looking for a bed that would fit under our window and there were not as many frames available under that height in the style we were looking for but this one fit perfectly. With a slight modification from our original plan. This bed was exactly what we are looking for. The description says the bed is a platform bed and no box spring is needed, while you can use this bed with just a mattress, I would recommend adding a box spring. We removed the bed slats and replaced with a 9" metal box spring. This accompanied with a 10" memory foam mattress leaves this mattress at the perfect height. Lets start with the fact that its a SOLID and super easy to assemble bed, like 15 minutes. All pieces feel heavy and well made. However, the COLOR was a disappointment as it not close to the stock photo. I ordered the "linen white" and it's way more BEIGE in person, straight up beige. Much darker than the photos too.
