I was pleased to receive these and not have to put anything together. I ordered these specifically for my desk in the spare room and an extra chair in the living area. I really like the color and size of the chair; height of the seat is 16", but you sink down ~1" through the braided material. It starts to become a little uncomfortable if you remain seated for greater than a couple hour stretch due to the lack of seat stability, but for a dining room chair it would be perfect. We were really excited for our chairs, so when one came damaged it was very disappointing. That said, the quality, material, color of fabric, height of the seat, and comfort of the chair are really nice.
