I love this rug, BUT just be aware that the description and stock photos don't quite match up with the actual rug. The description calls the color "silver/gray." I think cream and gray would be a better description. "Silver" makes it seem like it could be metallic, but it isn't. The stock pictures of the rug look like a cream colored rug with gray crosses. The actual rug has quite a bit of gray variation in the cream part between the crosses. The rug is a beautiful warm tone and makes my room look very cozy and inviting. Beautiful rug! Sheds like crazy but worth it! Thankfully, we have no indoor pets or small children, hard wood floors throughout the house and the rug is in a very low traffic area...so keeping up with the shedding takes very little effort. To give an idea of the shedding... I raked my fingers through it to fluff it after opening and got enough wool to make a matching sweater (see photo)! The next day I sat on it and was covered in wool so ran my stick vacuum over it and got a plastic grocery bag full of wool. I would say it's a creamier ivory color and very cushy. Took forever to trim the rug pad but worth it. Would recommend a slimmer rug pad since the carpet is already very thick. It is a nice quality rug, I love the pattern. It's a bit on the yellow side, I was hoping for more of an ivory with gray undertones like some reviews said but is deep cream.
