The bench was elegant, sturdy and light/easy to move. However there was a rustic/wooden smell to it, something that can be a feature in a large country house but not something we were necessarily looking for. I received the table four months after purchasing, which was a little disappointing because I hoped to enjoy it throughout the summer months when it would get the most usage. Still, the actual delivery of the table was smooth. There are a couple imperfections that could hinder the overall sturdiness, but I have faith that the table will hold up well for 5+ years.
