You guys never disappoint! This chair and ottoman combo is perfect for our designated spot in our master bedroom. It gives us another spot to hang out vs being on the bed. Both chair and ottoman were protected with a type of bag so that the items do not rub or wear against the box - that’s what I am guessing. Keeping the boxes and both bags to repackage when we move. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little. Looks amazing in our family room. We bought two of these, and they look so chic in our living room. They are firm, so if you're looking for these to "sink in" these will not do that. However, they do provide an upright seating position. The back rest goes up to mid back, so keep this in mind.
