This is a beautiful & high quality desk. There is a tiny scuff on the top of one of the legs, but it is barely noticeable. Even with that, I think the quality of the desk for the price is absolutely worth it. The burl wood design is fun and elevates my office. Been using for a couple of weeks now and it’s been sturdy. First off, it’s super easy to put together. It took me 15 minutes and zero issues. Trust the process because it’s going to feel like a wobbly mess until the stability bar is screwed in. Pros: It looks good. It’s slim, it’s sturdy. It’s a breeze to put together. It comes with foam pads on the legs. The hardware is really nice and heavy. It’s a good length for such a slim depth (usually a slim desk is much narrower). Cons: The top is a sheet of metal and it does that buckling thing if you push on it. This desk is not suited for heavy computers or printers. The drawers are metal and aren’t on runners so they drag. Attractiveness 5 stars. Functionality 0 stars. Drawers are sticky, thus the round pulls are worthless for getting the drawers open. File cabinet hardware is set for legal sized folders. There could have been a simple solution, a small slit in the metal hanging devices that would accommodate letter sized folders, but no - very poor design. Also, the file drawers only open about 1/2 way, so files in the back are hidden. And, the drawer guides are extremely poor given the weight of the drawers. Save your money, as this desk was expensive! Keep looking and try other sites rather than Josh and Main! Also, the matching book case finally came with one of the doors broken. I requested a new door, was told it would be "coming soon" , but as I write this review the "coming soon" was about 15 days ago. So much for customer service!?!. Candace. Ellensburg, WA. Love love love this desk. I had been looking for a desk to create a home work station I searched many websites and saw many desks but ultimately I kept coming back to this particular desk. I did end up finding this desk on another site for twice the price. The quality of the wood. The sturdiness of the desk and the depth provide the perfect surface to display and use my computer and printer with still room to write things . I am very pleased with the drawer sizes -- papers/organizers/charge cords you name it can fit in one of the 3 drawers, they get deeper as they go down (just as you would expect from seeing the drawer sizes from the picture). This was the right purchase for our space and it was one of the first furniture pieces that we intend to keep for years to come. Very happy with this desk! White glove delivery also was amazing!
