I did a lot of research on different birch, lighted trees and settled on these. I was amazed at how fast they came. Easy to set up very good quality easy to bend the branches anyway you want them to go. Unlike the description, they are all plugged in they are not battery powered that is exactly what I wanted plug-in. A lot of tree for the money. Color and texture are natural, and the shape is graceful. They are not quite as full as in the photo. It could be that I just need to spend more time fluffing out the branches. In any case, the trees are pleasing enough as they are. I love the coloring of the leaves of this tree! It’s fun that it lights up when you want it – my only hesitation is that the tree base is wrapped in a brown paper and does not look very real at all. I wish it was a more molded plastic tree base, but it will still work in my project. I do like the height of it and the variation between the maroon and pumpkinorange coloring is really pretty if you don’t want to use a typical green tree. Artificial Boston Fern Plant: Honestly, I never thought I would buy any kind of artificial plant, since I am a gardener, but as they say, never say never. I love (real) hanging ferns. Unfortunately, my neighborhood house wrens love them as well - which means the wrens build nests in which to lay their eggs in the (real) ferns, which means I have to stop watering those ferns, and then the ferns die ... Score: Birds 1, Humans 0. So ... I bought a birdhouse and a fake fern for my deck\balcony. For an artificial plant, this fern is quite realistic appearing. The only reason I gave it a "4" is that it appears less full and verdant than in the picture. However, since I had purchased 2 of these artificial plants (on sale), I decided to augment one plant with fern fronds appropriated from the other. (You can pull out the individual fronds from the base to accomplish this). It worked quite well, and made quite a robust appearing plant, which is now out on my deck. Another great tree from Joss & Main. This tree went in my husband's office, and elevated the space. The office went from bleh, to sophisticated. I spent a few minutes feathering out the branches to make the tree look full. The branches are arranged in a way that mimics the organic beauty of a real olive tree (or what I presume a real olive tree looks like). I purchased a planter separately with the intention of putting this tree in a "more modern, sleek" planter, but I am returning that as the black planter the tree arrived in adds a nice modern touch and is scaled perfectly for the room and placement that I have the tree in..
