The Jimmy LED lamp is a great, minimal piece that works for a floating shelf on my wall. It's classy and understated. Thatigjt has three settings, dim to bright. It's not a great reading light, but better suited to accent lighting, so be aware when planning placement and usage. Just to test it, I've charged it fully and left it illuminated for 3 days. It has not died yet, which tells me it holds a charge adequately. One complaint is that the top section is slightly canted...it's just a hair crooked out of the box, despite excellent packaging. These are so fun! They were larger than I expected but fit well on our buffet. The bowl of the shade is the size of a small cereal bowl but in proportion with the base. Really sturdy light with a cool, angular design. The gold color is a little yellow for me but it’s very close to my Troy Lighting picture lights. It does say it only takes LED, and the light’s interior is white so not sure of the light it will project I may spray it gold that seems to counteract the ugly led lights or you can use a sheet of Amber vellum.
