This is a gorgeous vanity and we are very pleased. It is not easy to find a modern stand alone vanity that is 55” wide. The quality is excellent the marble countertop and backsplash is thick and substantial. The plastic is still on in my countertop in the photos and the sink is not yet installed as I am awaiting my contractor. The hardware is solid brass and feels heavy. I chose this vanity specifically because it was square and would fit directly into the available space we had. The counters are square to the base with no overhang. The vanity is exactly what I expected. I will say the “soft close” drawers are definitely not that. They are a bit rough to open/close. But not a deal breaker. We did not like the handles, so we replaced them with handles we liked better. If you choose to do this, be aware that there are two holes on the cabinet doors that are a very weird size. It’s uncouth to be in love with a piece of furniture, but I am. My only complaint would be arranging the plumbing with this piece. Luckily, my father is a retired finishing carpenter. While he needed three attempts and many profane words to get the job done, he was able to arrange the plumbing, remove the plastic U wall inserts and cut out parts of the drawers to make the plumbing work.
