I chose this vanity specifically because it was square and would fit directly into the available space we had. The counters are square to the base with no overhang. The vanity is exactly what I expected. I will say the “soft close” drawers are definitely not that. They are a bit rough to open/close. But not a deal breaker. We did not like the handles, so we replaced them with handles we liked better. If you choose to do this, be aware that there are two holes on the cabinet doors that are a very weird size. The gentlemen who delivered our vanities were polite, attentive, and exceptionally careful in moving each vanity. Our delivery notes said “room of choice.” Their instructions said “inside entrance.” Wayfair did not schedule a third person which is a requirement for “room of choice.” However, the two gentlemen delivered every vanity to the chosen rooms. The delivery alerts I received were so confusing, differing dates and times, that I called the week before and talked to three different people, before I spoke with someone who confirmed date/time and “room of choice” delivery method. The delivery truck was packed, the gentlemen had a full day ahead of them, so they arrived shortly after 7am. They deserve recognition and a pay raise. It’s uncouth to be in love with a piece of furniture, but I am. My only complaint would be arranging the plumbing with this piece. Luckily, my father is a retired finishing carpenter. While he needed three attempts and many profane words to get the job done, he was able to arrange the plumbing, remove the plastic U wall inserts and cut out parts of the drawers to make the plumbing work. Navy Blue

The color of the vanity is just like the picture. It may even be better in person, however the quality control of the product is to be desired. the first one was damaged and cracked. while i appreciate the manufacturer replacing the vanity, it took more than two weeks to get so be aware if you are doing a renovation of your bathroom to buy weeks ahead of the project starting. The second one came and unfortunately had similar problems, which leads me to think someone is not looking before they package these vanities or they are storing them wrong. I will deal with the bruises on this one and hopefully find some blue paint to hide the imperfections. luckily the problems are close to the top so hopefully when the granite is put on top, no one will notice..
