Note that the base in the bed is not that sturdy and you won’t be able to put anything heavy in it. You absolutely will need 2 people to put this together. The bed sits much higher than what is shown in the photo. This bed does not sit like a lower profile/platform bed. The actual quality of the bed is great but the description was misleading.. I ordered the Kodie sleeper sofa in Drusky Ivory. We chose this fabric because it is washable and will hold up with kids, pets, and guests. The sofa is perfect for our office area. The seat is pretty firm but not unexpectedly so, and appears well made. The bed folds in and out fine (we made sure to test it when the delivery team set it up for us). The mattress is just over 5” thick and about what you would expect from a sofa bed. We ordered a mattress topper to make guests more comfortable. The back pillows have zippers. Spectacular daybed! I bought this daybed to go at the foot of my bed like a massive bench. It did not disappoint! Assembled was straight forward. Just attach the legs if want it to sit up about an inch higher. Then slide the armrests in the corresponding metal grooves on both sides and you're done!
