But it turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for - REALISTIC outside branches with great details while the internal branches and "fill" are not so detailed but perfectly fine and creates a wonderful nest for bigger ornaments. It's fairly easy to assemble, and just remember to take your time. There are 3 parts to the tree, one tree stand, and then the power cord. The branches are hinged and initially wrapped tightly with a strand of garland. After unpacking and untwisting the garland holding the branches, you can gently lower each branch into place. The powercord is rather thin, so I will wrap a protective tube covering around the cord to deter my pets. There is an instruction booklet to help with connecting the cord throughout the tree pieces too. I went with the 7-foot tree, and it will be the tallest in my Christmas tree grove. We lost our Christmas tree in a house fire and needed to purchase a new one. I did a good deal of looking and decided that the reviews and sale price on this tree seemed to be the best for what we wanted. It was delivered quickly and I set it up in a garage and checked to be sure that the lights worked since it was to be put in storage until 2025. (We are currently living in a motorhome until our house is rebuilt.) I did not spend time fluffing the branches because it was going right back into the box; however it seemed sturdy, full, and very well made with plenty of lights. Very nice looking tree for the price. It has a very natural and classic look which is what I was wanting in a tree. Had a few of the tree pieces had fallen off, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star. Very pleased, surprised at how much we like this tree. Being live-tree diehards, we did not expect to be as happy as we are with it. This was originally planned as a stop gap purchase since our schedule was going to be sporadic this Christmas and we couldn’t water a live tree, but this tree has changed our plans and opinion. Our concern was that the needles would look more like plastic than “real” needles. No worries, these are as realistic as we have seen.
