These wine glasses are HUGE! The picture of this item lead me to believe the dimensions were different than they were. I thought they would be taller than they were wide. I was incorrect. The base of the wine glass is a bit like a balloon glass that then tapers a classic Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon wine glass shape. I believe these glasses hold ~ 29oz. Be sure to double check that that size is what you're looking for. The quality of these glasses is pretty good but not what I remember from the older leaded crystal Riedel. Not bad at all, just different and with a different tone and feel. If I had my druthers, I think I would prefer the older style but that could also be due to the fact that I found these glasses a bit thin for my liking.
